How It All Started
To become a dating coach for men, it took the perfect storm to blow through and throw me into the business.
- The first part of the storm was being brought up with all boys (apologies to my sister for including her as one of the boys).
- The second part of the storm was being bullied by the “mean girls” at school. Thanks to them, I had to be witty and develop a charming personality to survive - the same skills I now pass onto my clients.
- The third part of the storm was becoming a stand-up comedian, also thanks to the mean girls (and the fact that I looked more like Woody Allen as a child than Woody Allen did as a child*).
- The last, and final piece was filming a video for AskMen.com called “Ask Women”, where Marni Kinrys of WinggirlMethod.com and I first became acquainted.
I always gave pointers and helped out my male friends who struggled with women. I knew how to speak both languages, so it was a piece of cake. But, I never knew there was such a thing as a professional dating coach. That was, until the day I met Marni on the set of the video we were about to shoot in 2013.
When I heard what Marni did for living, my face contorted like it was auditioning for Cirque du Soleil. “Wait, wut??” For a LIVING, you actually teach men how to date??”

he wheels in my brain began to turn. I thought, “A female comedian who’s spent years hanging with and helping the opposite sex with the opposite sex AND a talented and successful dating coach... This might be a good podcast idea...”
So, we pitched “The Ask Women Podcast” to Podcast One. They loved the idea and away I was taken by the storm.
Eventually, I noticed how badly some (a lot of) men struggled in the banter department, especially online. On our podcast, I began explaining easy tips and tricks to become more playful, flirtatious and interesting in conversation.
Marni took note and suggested that I write a guide on how to banter.
“Whoa. That would combine two things I love the most. Men (yes, I actually love men) and humor.” Lightbulb moment!
I wrote it over 6 months - fleshing out easy to learn formulas, techniques, tricks and how-to’s. Marni made it available on her website and I began to get requests for one-on-one coaching.
The Rest Is History
In the many years that I have been helping men become witty, charming, flirtatious dating pros, I have witnessed time and time and time and time again, being great at dating and becoming charming and desirable is a skill YOU CAN LEARN,
- I didn’t believe it until I saw it. Now I’m a believer.
- You can be one too.
- You just have to take the plunge and have faith.
- Many men will tell other men not to take dating advice from a woman.
- Those men have never met me.
